Hard at work. Russian is by far the hardest class on the onset. I didn't work with it all over the summer and I have forgotten so much. It doesn't help that in my first year we hardly did any speaking/listening work and so my brain is buckling under the weight of a new class structure. In the end it will be better, of course. I have always been good with doing lots of work and study at home in the past. I have a pretty good graspe on the grammer and I can do all of that alone, so this will work out for me better anyway. It is just so hard right now! I have been sitting here at my desk all day long trying to do some refreshing studying, and I already feel more confident about it.Please will someone give me a Russian-German dictionary.
I find it also especially useful to wear my knitted shawl and to look like a real Babyshka while I do my Russian homework. Please save me someone.
Oh yeah, yesterday a young Russian gentleman was downloading some music from me and I managed to have a fairly decent conversation with him, especially considering that I seemingly know 10 times as much Russian today as I did yesterday!
Be proud of me!
